Demi Lovato And Max Ehrich ‘Are Falling In Love,’ Plus Her Thoughts On Jealousy
Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich are going strong. The couple has been showing off their love on social media. Max had an idea that he was going to fall in love with the singer. The Young and the Restless star was enamored with her several years ago.
Reports of their romance first made headlines back in March. The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer and the daytime actor exchanged flirty messages on social media. Since then, Demi gave fans a glimpse into their adorable relationship. The couple even appeared in Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s “Stuck With U” music video. They’ve been in quarantine together.
How Max Ehrich predicted their relationship years ago
Per E! Online, Max Ehrich had a good feeling about Demi Lovato. On Thursday, May 21, the former Disney star posted a screenshot of a tweet that the 28-year-old actor said about her in 2011.
“All I wanted for Christmas was Demi Lovato,” Max wrote. “#CantAlwaysGetWhatYouWant.”

It turns out that Max did get what he wanted. Almost a decade later, the couple is now dating.
“We love a little manifestation,” Demi wrote. She also shared some photos of the twosome cuddling and kissing a puppy. An inside source told E! News that the two are “ordering in, cooking and watching movies together.”
Max “is a good influence on Demi” since he’s not big into the party scene. He’s focused on “music and health.” While the couple has mutual friends, Demi introduced Max to her friends on FaceTime. Although their relationship is new, they’re starting to have real feelings for each other. But apparently, they’re just hanging out to see where their relationship takes them.

“Demi and Max are falling in love and [are] so happy together,” another insider told E! News back in April. “This time has been very special because they have been one-on-one with no distractions or stress from outside life.”
Since they have so much free time, the couple has reportedly gotten to know each other better. Apparently, Demi loves being with him and he feels the same way. He’s also super supportive of her sobriety and is understanding about her past. They look forward to taking the next step in their relationship.
Demi Lovato reflects on jealous on her Instagram Stories
While jealousy is a normal feeling, it can also become toxic. On Thursday night, May 21, Demi reposted on her Instagram Stories a fan who previously shared her quote about jealousy, per Teen Vogue.
“Don’t torment yourself with jealousy. It’s a silly illusion that someone’s life is better than yours when the truth is that each one of us is on a different path,” the quote read.
“I love it when I say some smart sounding s*** and it pops up online makin me look prolific,” Demi wrote in the post. “Honest to God don’t remember saying that but damn – truth!!!”

She later revealed that the page from the quote was from the May 13 entry of her 2013 book, Staying Strong: 365 Days A Year. Demi revealed that she was on a tight deadline which is why she had a hard time remembering that quote.
“True story: I wrote this book in a matter of DAYS because my lazy a** pushed it off until the last second to turn it in,” she explained. “Don’t remember writing all these BUT I definitely did write it at my dining room with multiple cups of coffee!!”
As for the quote, Demi is right about jealousy. She has no reason to be jealous these days, even with her new boyfriend Max. The couple looks cozy and in love with each other.
