‘DWTS’ Alum Karina Smirnoff Is A Mom To A New Baby Boy
Karina Smirnoff of Dancing with the Stars is now a mom! She gave birth to her baby in Los Angeles, California earlier this week, according to a source who spoke with E! News. The source talked about the DWTS alum, saying “Karina and the baby are healthy and happy.” This is Karina’s first child.
Another source spoke with PEOPLE, adding, “She’s already head over heels in love. She’s excited for the next journey.”
As of right now, there are no pictures of the baby boy. There’s also no public information on his name and birth stats. And, Karina also never revealed who the baby’s father is. Karina herself has been silent on Instagram since late January. This was likely in preparation for her son’s arrival.
Fans hope to see pictures of the new baby soon. In the meantime, Karina is probably enjoying this special time with her newborn baby. On Wednesday, Lacey Schwimmer of DWTS commented on one of Karina’s older photos and said, “So happy for ya babe now let’s see this sassy baby you know it’s gunna out dance ya all.”

Karina first announced her pregnancy in December. She shared a selfie while holding up a positive pregnancy test and two fingers. She says this is because “2 means yes.” Since that post, she didn’t share any updates about her pregnancy. In the post, she didn’t reveal when her baby would arrive. So, DWTS fans weren’t sure when to expect a birth announcement from Karina.

When Karina announced her pregnancy, she spoke with PEOPLE about the big news. She said, “I’m super excited to start a new chapter in my life. I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I have so many emotions that I’m going through. I’m nervous, excited, over the moon happy and overwhelmed. Everyone has been so great, gracious and has given me so much information. I’m just trying to keep up! But I’m very grateful for the gift I’ve been given. I can’t wait to be a mom.”
For years, she’s been talking about how she wants to be a mom. She seems committed to giving her child the best life possible. Now, she’s finally a mom and is learning the ropes of motherhood.
