‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast Introduce Virtual Drinking, Plus Will The Reunion Show Be Impacted By The Coronavirus?
Vanderpump Rules cast members were hunkering down at Brittany Cartwright’s home. But now that there’s a lock down in California, they have to find a new way to self-isolate together. As the coronavirus pandemic spreads, the SUR crew has found a new way to entertain themselves. New cast member Dayna Kathan was the one who came up with the clever idea.
Leave it to this cast to find a new way to drink together
As per the Bravo blog, Vanderpump Rules cast member Dayna Kathan found a new way for them to drink together, separately.
Let us introduce you to virtual drinking. On Monday, March 16, Dayna took to her Instagram Story to take a shot of tequila. This game wasn’t just for Dayna and her fellow SURvers. She encouraged VPR fans to join in on the fun as well.
“Let’s play a game,” Dayna said. “Take one, send a [f***} ton, repost the original – do your own – add more people.”
She then added: “Everything will be ok you guys!! Let’s drink together, separately.”

Dayna tagged Vanderpump Rules cast members Ariana Madix, Brittany Cartwright, Danica Dow, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Kristen Doute, Scheana Shay, and Tom Schwartz, among other people.
Ariana didn’t want to commit to the alcohol shots. Instead, she opted for “green shots,” according her Instagram Story. Then, she was willing to take adult shots at night.
Kristen’s drink of choice was a martini. She enjoyed her drink while listening to Tiffany’s “I Think We’re Alone Now.” Meanwhile, Peter Madrigal kept it fancy with a glass of red wine.

The Vanderpump Rules cast will have to resort to drinking in a virtual world for now. On Monday, March 16, SUR, along with Lisa Vanderpump’s other famous restaurants, including Pump, Tom Tom, and Villa Blanca are temporarily closed amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
Other cast members hunkered down together. Beau Clark and Stassi Schroeder are currently living with Katie and Tom until their new home is “livable” again. Kristen has been staying with Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor.

Will the Vanderpump Rules reunion be shut down?
This news wouldn’t come as a shock since Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live announced its plans to shut down production, as per Reality Tea. It’s unclear how long the shutdown will last. It could be several weeks. Fans asked Andy whether the coronavirus will impact future reunion episodes.
But it’s the right call during this public health crisis. This led to one VPR fan to ask Andy on Twitter: “so does that mean that the season 8 #PumpRules reunion taping is going to be postponed because of the coronavirus thing going on? Or what’s going on?”
Andy responded: “Taking everything day by day.”

Of course, the Vanderpump Rules cast and crew’s health is the first priority. Once everything settles down, then production will resume. Only time will tell.
Vanderpump Rules airs on Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m. ET on Bravo.
