Kendall Jenner Is Not Bothered By The Coronavirus Pandemic
Kendall Jenner is not concerned about the coronavirus. In just a week, the pandemic has swept the globe and it isn’t dying down anytime soon. People are in a state of fear and uncertainty due to what’s happening. Grocery stores have limited food and supplies. It’s hard to keep up with the hourly updates and reported cases. It feels like the entire world is at a standstill right now.
But the model hasn’t been concerned. TV Shows Ace reported that concerts, music festivals, sports, and other major events have been cancelled. In addition, movie theaters, restaurants, and schools are closing across the country. People have been informed to practice self-isolation and social distancing until it is under control. But there are some people and celebrities like Kendall Jenner who don’t see what the big deal is.
Kendall Jenner slammed for insensitive coronavirus post
Kendall Jenner shared her thoughts on the coronavirus. She seemed careless over the new virus that’s caused fatalities all over the world. People have been concerned, except for Kendall.
She told her 124 million Instagram followers that the coronavirus is mild. She took to her Instagram Story to share a chart about the virus from Information Is Beautiful. The graphic called COVID-19 a mild virus that’s not deadly. It also stated that a large “bulk of people” have recovered from it.

“This is like a serious problem. It’s in my country and it’s going to be in so many different countries right now, so please say what is right and raise awareness.”
The entire country of Italy is currently on lock down. Over 137,000 people around the world have contracted coronavirus. Over 5,000 people have died from it. Even celebrities like Idris Elba and Tom Hanks have tested positive for the virus. No one is immune to this public health threat, not even Kendall herself.
Supermodel continues to ignore the backlash
Kendall Jenner hasn’t responded to the backlash she’s received for the coronavirus post. She hasn’t apologized, released a statement, or taken back what she’s said. Kendall’s behavior is quite telling, considering that other celebrities like Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift urged their fans to take the coronavirus more seriously.
Since then, Kendall has posted more photos and videos to her Instagram Story. It appears she’s still poking fun at the virus. She shared the following photos that show that she’s practicing social distancing. But it appears that she has since changed her tune. She followed up with this post on her Instagram Story that encourages the benefits of social distancing.
Goes for a bikini bike ride instead
As per The Blast, the 24-year-old model also received backlash when she shared a video of herself during a bike ride in Palm Springs, California. In the video below, Kendall is seen wearing a red bikini top with jeans and a baseball cap. The video has since gone viral.

Users continue to slam Kendall for mentioning the coronavirus. They feel that she’s not in the position to be giving out public health advice. Keep in mind that she uses her social media for anything, even if that includes giving awful skin care advice.
Kendall has also appeared in a promo for the “Please Wash Your Hands” hoodies currently being sold for $129 by Scott Disick’s Talentless clothing line. Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend dropped the merchandise in time for the coronavirus outbreak.
