Hannah Brown Could Get A Second Chance As ‘The Bachelorette’ Someday — If Money Talks
The idea of Hannah Brown returning for a second season of the Bachelorette is still fresh on fans’ minds. TV Shows Ace reported that Clare Crawley was named the next Bachelorette on Monday morning, March 2. Bachelor Nation seems split on Clare, and they’re just as split on the idea of Hannah Brown.
Some fans feel that Hannah should have been given a second chance at love. Others have Hannah Brown overload. Not only was Hannah the lead of The Bachelorette, but she also won Dancing with the Stars and appeared on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor. When she returned to The Bachelor, Bachelor Nation had a meltdown, and the show’s producers took notice. That’s what led to the rumors that she would reprise her role as The Bachelorette.
Hannah Brown was the “top choice” to be the lead Bachelorette again
According to a new report via Hollywood Gossip, Hannah Brown was still at the top of the list to become The Bachelorette for the second time. Producers really wanted her to return to the mansion. They felt it would have been good for ratings. The reason why she didn’t take the offer is because of money.
“They couldn’t agree on money apparently and she’s out unless something drastic happens,” Reality Steve Brown wrote on his blog. “That’s the latest I have on Bachelorette.”
ABC executive producer Robert Mills hinted towards those claims in a recent interview. He said that previous cast members supported one another before adding that “support seemed to be rather absent this season.” Robert meant that those cast members were super-supportive of returning to The Bachelor franchise. He seemed to have hinted that salary negotiations were the one thing that kept Hannah from signing onto another season of The Bachelorette.
Hannah may feel that she deserves more money since she won Dancing with the Stars back in November. She then moved to Los Angeles with the hope to make it big. She shouldn’t rule out The Bachelorette yet since it still pays well. The lead of the dating series earns $100,000 for just two months of filming. That’s a pretty cushy deal.
Made it clear that she won’t be the next Bachelorette ever again
Fans were hoping to see the former beauty pageant queen one more time. During her interview with Entertainment Tonight, Hannah Brown didn’t seem certain about her future with The Bachelor franchise.
“I don’t know [if I’d be the bachelorette again],” she said back in January. She added that the experience was “a lot of hard and bad.” Hannah even joked about how bad her “ending” went. She went on to say that she’s focusing on other things rather than finding love again.
“Right now, I’m just trying to seize the opportunities that I have and feel very confident in the things that I say yes to. And also confident in the things that I know aren’t best for me right now.”
Hannah is officially out of the running because she’s touring with her dance partner, Alan Bersten, as part of the Dancing with the Stars tour. The tour will start on March 24 in Riverside, California, and will include five more shows at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on March 29. The tour conflicts with The Bachelorette filming, as taping usually begins in early-to-mid March.
So, if you have tickets to the Dancing with the Stars tour, you can expect to see Hannah Brown there instead. While Hannah may not be The Bachelorette right now, she could return in the not-so-distant future. She should try to strike up a deal with the executives if she’s still interested.
