Farrah Abraham May Have Hinted That Her Daughter, Sophia, Struck A Deal With MTV
Farrah Abraham first appeared on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant and then found fame with Teen Mom. And now it looks like her daughter, Sophia Abraham, is following in her mom’s footsteps when it comes to reality television. Farrah has been desperate to get Sophia into the entertainment industry, as you can see on her Instagram page. Like most parents, she has high hopes for her daughter.
Sophia Abraham even has her own Instagram page. But is it too much, too soon? Some fans feel that the 11-year-old is too young to use social media. That hasn’t stopped Farrah Abraham from pushing her daughter into the spotlight, though. There’s even a rumor swirling that Farrah might be getting Sophia a television deal with MTV.
Instagram post about Sophia hints toward her future “TV career”
Showbiz CheatSheet was the first to report on this rumor. Sophia could find her way onto MTV, just like her famous mom did. The rumor first started on Sophia’s very own Instagram post. The post features a series of videos and photos of Sophia enjoying her day at MTV studios.
“Surreal day seeing my mom on the #MTV Wall on way to my own meeting – now getting to work hard on my next chapter in my tv career I’m working hard thank you mom, my agents and the creative development team at #viacomcbs,” the Instagram post reads.

Fans assume that it’s Farrah who’s behind Sophia’s Instagram account. So, they feel that Farrah is alluding that her daughter is getting her own television deal with MTV. Those same fans also feel that Disney or Nickelodeon would be much more appropriate. Both studios air family-friendly content, unlike MTV.
“Proud of you – coming from an Iowa teen mom, not bad. Love you,” Farrah commented under the post.
It also appears that Farrah has since repaired her relationship with MTV and Viacom. She last appeared on Ex on the Beach following her Teen Mom firing. It’s not clear whether Sophia will end up on MTV as well. She could end up in a program produced by Viacom that’s more age-appropriate.
Farrah Abraham’s daughter released her first-ever music video
Unfortunately, not everyone is happy with Sophia Abraham’s first music video. Last week, her proud mom shared it for everyone to see, as per Hollywood Life. Sophia dropped her first ever music video and song called “Bestie Best Friend.”
The music video appeared on YouTube on Sunday, February 23. Sophia and a teen actress are seen doing “everything together,” including playing dress up, having sleepovers and taking trips to Hollywood.
Of course, Farrah makes a brief appearance in the video. Fans didn’t understand why she had to be there. While most fans thought the video was cute and age-appropriate, others thought Farrah was promoting her adult film career, as per The Blast. Some fans thought her scene in the video was inappropriate for pre-teens.
Others were concerned over Sophia’s well-being. Sophia and Farrah made headlines earlier this year after Farrah slammed rumors that CPS was called to her home amid allegations that she left Sophia alone at home in Los Angeles while she went on her Hawaiian getaway.
She also posted a provocative video of herself with Sophia in the background. Fans don’t think it’s right for Farrah to push Sophia into the entertainment industry. Especially with her past with adult work.
