According to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Jeff Jackson (Metcalfe) is back solving another mystery. Riddled With Deceit: A Martha’s Vineyard is a jewelry theft and murder mystery. $5,000,000 cursed emeralds are nearly stolen from an auction house. These are emeralds with a curse! They had been on the black market for ages and of interest to some nefarious characters. They need a professional to guard the glittering gems. Guess who is hired? Britt Prajna (Sunita Prasad), Zee Madeiras’ (Lind) good friend is the rightful owner of the emeralds. To sum it up, Jeff needs to see the jewels get into Britt’s hands.
Britt wants to show off the gorgeous emeralds at her upscale hotel, the Pendray. Certainly, the handing over of the glittering jewels will be a big production, with pomp and circumstance. All the Martha’s Vineyard elite are attending. This means Jeff looking very James Bond in a tux, and Zee all glammed up. Maybe there will even be time for Jeff and Zee to enjoy a dance? After that, the transaction is successful.
Not long after the glamorous event a series of events happens. Firstly, the emeralds are stolen from the hotel safe. Subsequently, Britt is attacked at home.
