It turns out that relationships can work out on the Bachelor franchise. Even if most couples go their separate ways, there are some happy endings. Lesley Murphy and Alex Kav made their relationship official after one-year of dating. This gives the rest of Bachelor Nation some much-needed hope.

The Bachelor alumna is engaged to boyfriend Alex Kav, as People reported. The outlet published the first official photos of the couple. Lesley also shared the exciting news with her followers on Instagram. She exclaimed to People that she “can’t wait” to marry Alex. Their engagement is the perfect start to their 2020 together.
According to her Instagram post, Alex popped the question on Tuesday, Feb. 4. He proposed on the beach before they met Lesley’s parents in New Zealand. Lesley is still “processing” what happened, but she’s looking forward to her new life with her fiancé by her side. In January 2018, the couple made their relationship Instagram official with a photo of them kissing on the edge of a cliff. The two have been traveling around the world and documenting their love and adventures on social media.

This news comes after she ended her relationship with ex-boyfriend Dean Unglert, the Season 17 contestant of The Bachelor. Aside from the Instagram post, Lesley shared a photo of her engagement ring on her Instagram Story.
“Feeling all of these feels in the best way I know how,” she included in the caption. She also shared a video of them celebrating their engagement while hanging out in the airport.

As Us Weekly reported, Bachelor alums Ali Fedotowsky, Ashley Iaconetti, Bibiana Julian, and Caila Quinn congratulated the couple in the comments section of their Instagram posts. Lesley appeared on the Bachelor in 2013 during Sean Lowe’s season. She then dated her Bachelor Winter Games costar Dean, who’s dating Bachelor in Paradise alum Caleynn Miller-Keyes.

As TV shows Ace reported, Dean and Caelynn have also been documenting their relationship and travels on social media. But, it’s doubtful that these two couples will have a group date sometime soon.
