Jim Edmonds and Meghan King Edmonds have been in the middle of a nasty divorce. His estranged wife is sharing the details about the morning that he decided to file for divorce. She claims that he quietly took his credit cards with him.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum has used her new podcast, Intimate Knowledge, to discuss the details of their marriage. But this week, Meghan appeared on the Juicy Scoop podcast to talk about the morning of their divorce, as reported by People. She was blindsided by their divorce. She didn’t even know that Jim filed for divorce until she read it in a tabloid.
Meghan King Edmonds claims estranged husband took back credit cards
According to the 35-year-old reality star, it all happened so fast. She couldn’t think anything through. Meghan revealed that they had a “contentious argument” with their nanny Carly Wilson, who she accused Jim Edmonds of having an affair with. Both parties have denied the affair allegations.
Meghan revealed that after their nanny left the house that morning, she recalled that scary morning. She revealed that she “got scared of Jim that he was going to become physical with me – he was very upset – and so I called the police, the police came, and that point was when he literally packed a bag and left.”
That’s when she revealed that Jim quietly took their credit cards and the hard drive from his computer so she wouldn’t have access to his money. Meghan claims that Jim went through her purse and belongings in a desperate search to find his credit cards. The 49-year-old also took a pair of Chanel boots and a pair of jeans that he gifted her on their five-year anniversary.
Hours later, she read a tabloid headline revealing that her husband had filed for divorce.
Jim Edmonds speaks out on threesome claims
It’s been reported that Jim has been dating again. Now, he’s speaking about the claims that he’s been dating their threesome partner. On the Monday, Jan. 20 episode of her Intimate Knowledge podcast, Meghan revealed that Jim is dating someone new who’s one of her former friends with whom the couple had a threesome with when they were newlyweds. According to her, they traveled to Cabo, and he brought her as his guest at a birthday party.
Jim released a statement to People, disputing Meghan’s claims. He revealed that both he and Meghan have filed for divorce.
“I am tired of the lies for publicity,” Jim Edmonds said. “I filed for divorce 90 days ago. Meghan has filed as well. The marriage is and has been over.”
The former MLB player said that he only went on one date with the woman. He denies having an affair on his estranged wife. Jim claims he’s dating a woman that Meghan knows, and he hasn’t spoken to her friend “in over three years.”
Removes all photos of ex-wife from Instagram
Jim has been trying to move on from his marriage, as reported by TV Shows Ace. Three months after filing for divorce, he removed all photos of Meghan from his Instagram page, as reported by Bravo. On Sunday, Jan. 19, he deleted all photos that featured the former reality star. Instead, he shared a gym photo and revealed that he wanted to start on a clean slate. In his Instagram post, Jim said that he “will not allow lies and false accusations to bring me down ever again.”

Since their divorce, both Meghan King Edmonds and Jim Edmonds have bought separate homes for their kids, Aspen, 3, and twin boys Hart and Hayes, 19-months-old. They’ve also reached a 50/50 custody agreement, and have been trying to act as peaceful co-parents for the sake of their children.
