Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich have been hit with divorce rumors. As TV Shows Ace reported, Laich teased about a “new chapter” in his life on Instagram. The Dancing With the Stars professional dancer has also been spotted without her wedding ring. The couple’s marriage is “complicated” because of the difficulties that they have faced and their love for one another, according to a new report.
That doesn’t negate the fact that the couple has been living separately for months. Both parties have also admitted the complexities of their marriage in separate interviews. As a result, fans have wondered if their marriage is coming to an end.
Couple reunited at the airport despite divorce rumors
Julianne Hough was photographed picking up her husband Brooks Laich on Thursday, Jan. 9 amid the divorce rumors. The couple was spotted embracing at the Hollywood Burbank. The 31-year-old professional dancer looked lovingly up at her 36-year-old husband as he gazed back down at her, according to the People report. Laich still wore his wedding ring while Hough was without hers. In fact, she hasn’t worn hers for months, if you look closely at her Instagram page.

Fans also noticed that she was without her wedding ring when she decorated their Christmas tree and when she celebrated the New Year with Carson Daly as they co-hosted NBC’s New Year’s Eve. She also didn’t wear her wedding ring in her recent Instagram videos. Meanwhile, Laich has been faithfully wearing his wedding ring, as evidenced in his Jan. 2 workout video.

Source reveals Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich’s marriage issues
As reported via People, multiple sources revealed that the couple has been having issues in their marriage for the past few months. For one, Laich and Hough are two different people. The source revealed that they have a hard time working with their different personalities.
“They’ve been having problems for months,” one source said. “She’s very independent and a free spirit, and that’s been tough for Brooks and their marriage.”
An additional insider revealed that the couple still loves each other. Divorce is not even an option for them. The second source said that they want to work through their issues. They feel that it’s a normal part of being married.
“It seems they are not giving up, but also not talking about it. They want to do this their way,” the second insider said. Then, the insider continue, “They don’t want to discuss their marriage. They have been having problems, but many people do.”
Couple doesn’t spend “as much time together” anymore
Sources at Us Weekly feel the same way about this couple. They revealed the couple’s “problems” in their marriage. Their “rough patch” has caused Laich and Hough to live separate lives. This comes after they grieved the recent deaths of their dogs.
Back in October, Hough revealed that her dogs, Harley and Lexi, died on the same day a month prior. Laich also revealed on Instagram that their family tragedy “has left my wife and I heartbroken” and “the immense pain we feel by their loss is due to the overwhelming love we had for them.”
The couple dated in 2014 and later got engaged in 2015. They exchanged vows in July 2017.
