Duggar: Joe And Kendra Feel Prepared To Transition To Two Kids
It’s a busy time for the Duggar family of TLC’s Counting On. There are several babies on the way. Very soon, Anna, Kendra, and Lauren will all have their babies. All three Duggar daughters-in-law are due in November. Abbie is also pregnant and will give birth in January. All of the pregnant women are expecting baby girls. Plus, Jessa Seewald gave birth to a baby girl, Ivy, earlier this year.
Joe and Kendra are currently parents to Garrett. Garrett is 16 months old. This means that they’ll have two kids under two once their new baby arrives next month. Naturally, this makes fans wonder about the transition from one to two kids. In addition, fans are wondering how the transition will go with two very young children.

This week, Joe and Kendra spoke with Us Weekly about the transition. They seem to be confident that it will go smoothly. In the interview, Kendra said, “We’re kind of already in that napping, changing diapers groove with Garrett still, so I think it will be just adding another [to that]. We’ll both be busy, I guess. All hands will be tied up taking care of little ones, but there are always challenges. [Our son] can’t do much himself, so he’s going to need a lot of help, but we’re excited about this new chapter.”
Then, Kendra continued and explained her excitement, saying, “I think it’s going be different, but we’ll probably get into the groove of what our family size is. The adjustment part is always an adjustment, so we’ll just see how it goes!”
Even if it’s a big change, Kendra seems to think that they can make it work. With a big family, it’s possible that Joe and Kendra will have lots of help, especially early on.
Duggar babies on the way
Right now, Anna is expecting her sixth child with her husband Josh. By now, Duggar fans think that Josh and Anna can handle another child. Currently, they have three sons and two daughters. With the new baby girl on the way, the kids will be evened out. In the gender reveal video, Mackynzie, their oldest daughter, is thrilled to be getting another sister.

Lauren and Josiah are excitedly awaiting the arrival of their first child. Lauren’s first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage late last year. The couple has been very open about that miscarriage and the current pregnancy. So far, it seems like everything is going smoothly. Lauren has mentioned that the pregnancy has not been easy, but she has not made any serious issues known.
John and Abbie announced their pregnancy a little later than the rest of the Duggar couples. Fans were patiently awaiting a pregnancy announcement. Fans were curious because John and Abbie are a little older than most of the couples have been when they’ve tied the knot. Still, they have plenty of years to grow their family if they choose to do so.
