Jordan Rodgers & JoJo Fletcher Of ‘The Bachelorette’ Have A Wedding Venue On Hold
In the August 2016 finale of The Bachelorette, Jordan Rodgers and JoJo Fletcher get engaged for the first time. This past summer, to “get things really going” with wedding planning, the SEC Network analyst re-proposed. This couple has been going strong and even have their own show Cash Pad now.

“We started the planning process before my re-proposal, which Jojo had no idea about,” Jordan Rodgers told People. “I wanted to be excited again about the planning and the wedding.”
During a trip to California, Fletcher, 28, thought the couple had been checking our wedding venues, Rodgers, 32, had other plans. He rented out a potential venue looking over the Malibu mountains and once again, got down on one knee. This was a total shock to JoJo.
“I always felt like I wanted to have a moment that was just us,” he says. “Not a moment to overshadow or overtake the first proposal, but a moment we could always remember it was just us. And I always knew I wanted to get my own ring for JoJo. I already had it designed. She was completely surprised.”
This didn’t take away from the sentiment of the Neil Lane ring Rodgers gave her the first time. “The Neil Lane ring is special to us,” Rodgers says. “We’ll figure out something we can do with it down the road because it does still mean a lot to us. But she got a little bit of an upgrade.” They have mentioned turning it into a necklace or something else for her to wear. You also have to wonder how fancy her new ring is for it to be an upgrade.
From that, the couple has officially started planning for their wedding day. Fans are happy to hear it is actually going to happen now.
The Big Day Is Coming Quick, Within A Year Actually
“Right now, we’re working on finalizing the venue and the wedding planner,” the Bachelorette alum says. “We picked a venue. It’s not confirmed yet, but we have it on hold so we’re tentatively playing around with some dates and starting to put together our guest list. We have no idea if it’s going to be 150 or 850! JoJo thinks it’s going to be small. I keep telling her, ‘Wait until you start adding it together.’ It’s going to get going real quick.”
It definitely will be going quickly, the couple wants to have their wedding in the summer of 2020. “Because of football season, it has got to be before fall,” said Rodgers. He told People, the couple is planning to team up for Paramount Network’s Fittest Couples. “We’re looking like June, July.”
Jordan Rodgers spends many of his weekends traveling to different stadiums around the country for work since it’s the height of college football season. But him having partnered with CheapTickets makes it easier for JoJo to come with him.
“The other day she’s like, ‘Should I come?’ And I’m like, ‘Heck yeah’” Rodgers says. “So she booked a flight real quick and came with me. She enjoys traveling for work, so anytime she can grab a CheapTicket comes in a handy.”
When the couple has time to be fans and tailgate, they always start with their favorite drink, as the former football pro says it should.
“You’ve got to have some buddies and they’ve got to have some corn holes, so I can win something before the game starts,” he continues. “Or you can play some games with some red Solo cups, I’ve heard.”
According to Rodgers, CheapTickets’ “travel tailgate index” allows for fans to see “the most budget-friendly games in every conference.”
“Get out there, go experience your favorite team, the tailgating,” he says. “The part of my life that’s been the most significant throughout my career before my relationship is college football.”
