‘Counting On’: Jessa Seewald Gives Baby Ivy Update
Late last week, Jessa Duggar Seewald of Counting On shared a new update. On Instagram, she posted a photo of her nearly three-month-old daughter. Ivy is sitting in a chair and looking at the camera.
In the caption, Jessa writes, “Nearly 16lbs, and positively the sweetest disposition I’ve ever know in a baby. She’ll be 3 months old next week. Where on earth has the time gone? How has 1/4 a year already passed? Time slow down..”

It sounds like Ivy is a great little girl already. From what Jessa has shared, she and Ben seem to have gotten lucky with their three kids, Spurgeon, Henry, and Ivy. Jessa is often sharing cute photos of them. She also shares funny sayings from Spurgeon.
Prior to the past week, Jessa was pretty silent on social media for over a month. It seems like she took a social media break to focus on her kids. When she stopped her social media break nearly a week ago, she posted a picture of all three of her kids. She also shared one of Ivy on her own.
Fans were excited to see Jessa return to social media and to know that the updates are hopefully back for good.

Counting On fans react to Jessa’s new update
In the comments section of Jessa’s post, fans had a lot to say. Overall, the comments on this post were pretty positive. Of course, Jessa is no stranger to backlash on social media. Her social media followers often give her unsolicited advice and mom-shame her for how she is raising her three children.
In the past, the Counting On star hasn’t been afraid to clap back. She sometimes responds to these nasty comments. Other times, she decides to just let it go.
In one comment on the recent post about Ivy, a follower wrote, “Just a little worried does she smile ?? As a person in healthcare just feel concerned”. Jessa chose to reply to this comment and wrote, “Worry not–she’s been smiling responsively since she was 5 weeks old, and she ‘talks’, babbles and coos all the time.”
Several fans also questioned Ivy’s weight. One compared Ivy’s weight to the weight of her own child who is one year old. Of course, some fans were quick to defend Ivy’s weight. They pointed out that all babies are different and that Ivy is healthy.
