Kailyn Lowry Sends Lindsie Chrisley Support Amid Family Financial Scandal
Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry is speaking out. She’s sharing her thoughts on the Chrisley financial scandal.
According to her recent tweet, Lowry only has one interest in the drama. That is her friend, Lindsie Chrisley.
“I’ve been contacted by various media outlets regarding the case against the Chrisley Family.” Lowry tweeted. She added that Lindsie was her “one and only concern.” She would be “supporting her privately.”
Finally, she followed her tweet with a fingers crossed and heart emoji.
Kailyn Lowry’s Followers’ Reactions
In less then 24 hours, her 1.4 million followers showered the tweet. It accumulated over 5,000 likes and just shy of 200 comments.
Unfortunately, Kailyn’s followers had mixed feelings about her tweet.
To Lowry’s dismay, some followers took issue with her discussing the scandal. They didn’t understand why she tweeted about her “private” support at all. Naturally, she had just as many people clap back at the trolls.
Blasting Lowry, one follower shared a screenshot of the Teen Mom 2 star retweeting articles about the scandal.

Unfortunately, many didn’t understand Kailyn’s PSA. Why were media outlets contacting her anyway?
“No offense but not sure why you’d be contacted. What could you add to what’s going on with her mom and dad’s finances? Not too sure they’d be sharing that information with just anyone,” one Twitter user penned.
The Chrisley Family Scandal
Lindsie’s parents Julie and Todd Chrisley have been all over the headlines. Currently, the duo face several financial charges including tax evasion and bank fraud.
Recently, Julie and Todd turned themselves in. They, however, insist they’ve done nothing wrong. If found guilty, they could face several decades of jail time.
Kailyn Lowry’s Questionable Twitter Activity
Some of her followers have found Lowry’s social media activity to be questionable. She tweeted several articles referencing the scandal. And her fans are not happy about it.
In fact, some even blasted Lowry for “using” her friend.
“You’ll throw anyone and everyone under the bus,” one individual exclaimed.

Some of her followers noted Kailyn knew how damaging tabloid stories could be. Why would she do that to her friend?
Again, many of Kailyn Lowry’s followers came to her defense. They insisted the tweets were automatic. They did not believe the Teen Mom 2 star shared them. Some even begged Lowry to take the family off her list of automatic posts.
If your sole concern is for @lindsiechrisley then why share/retweet news about her family? You should take the high road and just ignore it.

Lindsie Chrisley’s Reaction
Unlike Lowry, Lindsie has voiced her opinion on the scandal. As fans know, she departed from Chrisley Knows Best back in 2017. Her relationship with her parents remains estranged. Speaking to The Daily Mail, her rep revealed she’s not in contact with her parents. Moreover, she wasn’t surprised to learn of the charges.
“Lindsie would like to thank all of her supporters. The circumstances Todd and Julie find themselves in, is quite unfortunate.”
Despite rumors, her rep clarified that Lindsie played no part in providing the information that resulted in her parents’ arrest.
The rep added: “Lindsie has been a constant target of lies, harassment and threats from her family and as a result, has been distancing herself from the Chrisley family since 2017.”
