Colton Underwood Isn’t Letting the Haters Get to Him, While Ex-Girlfriends Support Him

Colton Underwood has gotten a lot of hate for being selected as this year’s Bachelor. Some say he has been over publicized, threw Tia Booth around during Bachelor in Paradise and plays the virgin card too many times. However, Colton isn’t actually letting this harsh criticism get to him and knows why he is playing the game.

Colton Underwood shuts out the haters

Colton Underwood knows that people aren’t happy with the fact that he’s the Bachelor. He isn’t letting them get to him. He knows why he played the game and that’s to get a wife and mother of future children.

Fans were mainly upset about Colton being chosen for the role because of his on again off again relationship with Tia Booth. We learned that Tia and Colton had been an item during Becca’s season of The Bachelorette. Tia stepped in to essentially stop Becca from pursuing a relationship with him. Good thing she did, because Becca and Garrett are great together.

Ultimately, Colton says he went on the show because he is ready to find love. He wasn’t doing it for popularity. Colton Underwood also told Entertainment Tonight that he’s ready to find the woman he can spend the rest of his life with and that can be the mother to his children. The Bachelor fans that dislike him don’t matter to him at all.

Tia and Colton had a lot of struggles during their emotional time on The Bachelor in Paradise. Fans were really upset when Colton strung Tia along. Now, Tia reportedly has a new boyfriend so it’s less likely she will be seen making an appearance during the season. Luckily, Becca, Tia and Colton are all on good terms and they support him being on the show and finding true love.

Colton’s ex-girlfriends support him

According to ET, Becca Kufrin and Tia Booth both support their ex-boyfriend, Colton, in his Bachelor journey. “I’ve spoken to both of them since being announced, and they’re both super excited. They were very encouraging, and I wouldn’t expect anything less because that’s the type of people that they are,” Colton told ET.

He’s even rekindled his relationship with Blake Horstmann and Jason Tartick. They are the other two other people that fans really wanted to see as The Bachelor.
