They are no longer teens on Teen Mom OG, instead, they are young women who are living their own separate lives. As fans, we all have our favorite moms. Amber Portwood has had her share of ups and downs throughout the years. She has been through it all, literally. Now, Amber Portwood has stated in an emotional message on her Twitter that she is ready to leave.
“This heartache this show has put me through is too much to bear anymore. If I will not be shown, then there’s nothing more to do. My name will not get smeared anymore. I hope everyone is resting easy with the money they’ve made off of heartache and pain that I’ve endured.”
These are her words from the heart. She feels strongly in regards to leaving Teen Mom OG behind. Amber Portwood wants to do something else with her life. She wants to bring help to those who need assistance in their lives.
Life hasn’t been easy living in the spotlight with all the hurdles she has faced. Quitting the show could help provide more privacy to her already hectic lifestyle. It won’t help much though. Being part of the reality show for countless years, twelve years, in fact, is still going to make her a celebrity. The arrangement to quit has been a long time coming. There is only so much a person can actually handle and Amber hit her breaking point with the reality TV series, Teen Mom OG.
She isn’t the only girl from the show who has wanted to drop out. The public eye can be brutal, although it certainly has for Amber. The heartache has been an uphill battle for her. Not only has she survived a dreadful unhealthy relationship with the father of her daughter in the eye of the public but she has had to endure her battles with depression and misfortunes with the world. It has not been easy. Teen Mom OG has been a roller coaster for all the teen moms especially Portwood.
Despite all the headaches and heartaches, she is a stronger person as a result of it all. The show will continue with or without her. Make sure that you don’t miss new episodes of Teen Mom OG on Monday nights on MTV.
