One Chicago fans are disappointed to learn that there will not be any new episodes of the Chicago-based shows tonight. Due to additional coverage of the presidential inauguration and a primetime special entitled Celebrating America, fans will have to wait until next week to see their favorite Chicago-based first responders. NBC made the announcement on
Chicago P.D.
Chicago PD returned this week with the rest of the One Chicago line up and this episode definitely did not disappoint. Unlike what the promo indicated, this episode was not Halstead and Upton centric. This will they/won’t they couple had their moments but this episode really focused on Kim Burgess. Marina Squerciati absolutely rocked this
Wow, this was an amazing follow-up to last week’s premiere episode. I loved how Chicago PD handled the emotions, sensitive issues, and challenges that this episode presented and I am going to gush just a bit but Laroyce Hawkins was spectacular in this episode! I am so disappointed that Kevin’s character has been so underutilized
Chicago PD did not dance around the issues our beloved cops will be facing as things continue to change for the men and women that hold the thin blue line. The open hostility our characters experience is frustrating, but not surprising. But, before I tell you what happened in this episode let me reiterate, SPOILERS
Fans of Chicago Fire are in for it big time when Season 8 picks up just after the finale. Season 7 ended with a cliffhanger. Most of Truck 81 had been trapped in the basement of a mattress factory nearing explosion. Season 8 will pick up right where Season 7 left off, leading to some devastating results.
