Becca moves following split from Garrett
It was just two days ago that Becca announced officially that she and Garret Yrigoyen were over. Fans had speculated for months, but neither of them would comment. Now, it’s official and she is moving on. She has moved to a new city and seems excited about her new journey.
Becca went to Instagram to reveal her big move. She shared a cute photo and said, “Hello Los Angeles 👋🏼 I can’t wait to get to know you once this pandemic totally stops cramping my style! Spoiler: I’m officially an LA resident (and according to this picture I still don’t know what to do with my hands🤷🏻♀️).”
She continued, “After a crazy couple of months, I made the last-minute decision to sign a lease (sight unseen) in an area that I was totally unfamiliar with. But I’m here to embrace this new adventure and put down some roots in the City of Angels during this next chapter in my life.”
Becca wrapped up her post asking for recommendations for herself and Minno on places to eat, hang out, etc.

Her split from Garrett
Becca announced the end of their engagement on Tuesday. She shared their split on a podcast and also on her Instagram. Becca shared a photo of herself and Garrett and said, “With a heavy heart, Garrett and I have come to the loving conclusion to end our engagement. All that we will share is that we still have nothing but love and respect for one another even though we’ve decided to go down our own separate paths. While we’ve arrived at this point, it doesn’t diminish the countless, amazing memories made together.”
On the podcast Becca said she realizes there has been a lot of speculation and curiosity. She went on to say that nobody has the right to confirm their split except for her and Garrett.
She continued, “I don’t think it’s going to come as a shock to anyone, but Garrett and I have decided to end our engagement. And if you have followed us on Instagram the past couple of months, you’ll have noticed that I spent a lot of time in Minnesota. I was with family and close friends, and he was out on the West Coast doing the same. We were just trying to take time and gain some clarity as to what was the next best step in our lives together or as individuals.”
Nobody was really shocked over their split. However, it is still sad to see them go their separate ways after two years together. They began having problems when he voiced support for police officers. His post upset Becca’s podcast co-host, Rachel Lindsay, and herself.
