Will ‘The Grand Tour’ Premiere On September 4? Leaked Information Now Removed
Just as fans of The Grand Tour began to hope, as they had not hoped before. It not appears that the accidental leak of the Season 4 “Madagascar” episode has now been removed. So, what exactly is going on?
The Grand Tour Season 4 ‘Madagascar’ Episode Leak Removed
Will The Grand Tour long anticipated “Madagascar” episode finally be released on Friday, September 4? It looks less likely now. According to Grand Tour Nation, the IMDb posting that listed the Season 4 episode as airing on the first Friday of September has now been deleted.
It was assumed that this was an accidental episode leak. Now, it seems like it was a mistake. But, there are more indications that long suffering fans of the Amazon Prime show have to wait longer. The main one is that Amazon has yet to release a preview for the new episode. This preview would air on YouTube and on Amazon.
Granted, this is an unusual year and there may be coronavirus issues that requires safety, thus causing delays. Yet, Amazon would have written something on their social media at the least. They are quite aware that fans are waiting.
Eight months ago, Amazon released “Seamen.” Fans have grown frustrated over the extreme delays.

Why Is It Taking So Long For ‘Madagascar’ Episode?
For those fans of The Grand Tour who honestly don’t know, Covid-19 is the reason that the second episode of Season 4 is delayed. Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May filmed this episode prior to Christmas 2019. What delayed the episode was production.
Longtime producer of the trio, Andy Wilman, got the coronavirus in March sometime. He also stated that he got it again a few months later. Add that there are separate cameras on each of the three presenters, with a total of 1,000 plus hours of footage to edit, this mammoth task was too much for someone who has been battling this very challenging virus.
The Grand Tour Season 4 Episode 2 Was Ready In June
Despite the obstacles, the “Madagascar” episode was ready in early June. According to Drivetribe, Jeremy Clarkson revealed they finished editing the Madagascar episode. Best of all, he says it is a good episode. “We think we made a hell of a story and we hope you enjoy watching this as much as we enjoyed making it.”
James May also had wonderful things to say about Madagascar. He called the island “a truly beautiful place.”
That is no random compliment. May, Clarkson and Hammond have traveled around the world. They have driven to the North Pole, and drove down to the tip of South America. They have seen a lot of incredible sites. Madagascar is one especially beautiful site.
Now, we just have to wait for Amazon to finally release The Grand Tour Season 4, “Madagascar.”
