Here’s How The Bella Twins Gave Birth Together Amid A Pandemic On Different Days
Nikki and Brie Bella aka the Bella twins do pretty much everything together. It makes sense that not even a pandemic could stop them from give birth in side by side rooms.
After announcing their pregnancies together and quarantining together, they finally gave birth at about the same time. Nikki’s son, Matteo, was born on July 31, and Brie’s son, Buddy, was born on August 1.
“We’re lucky because [our hospital rooms] were right next to each other and I was like, ‘My sister and I have been quarantined together and we’re identical twins. Can she come in?’ They said, ‘Okay, in the middle of the night, we’ll bring her, Artem, and Matteo,” Brie said. “Because I had a [cesarean] section and couldn’t get out of bed, they came in the middle of the night, around midnight. It was really emotional to see them and to just see her holding a baby.”
You Won’t Want to Miss Out on the Bella Twins’ Family Photo Shoot
The sisters remained mostly quiet on social media in the weeks following the births. This week, they announced their sons’ names along with baby pictures on Instagram. The Bella twins and their newborns will appear on the cover of PEOPLE magazine in an upcoming edition. This won’t be the first maternity photoshoot the Bella twins took part in. Nikki and Brie also posed nude for a pregnancy photoshoot over the summer. The photos are absolutely captivating and really shows how close the sisters are.
What’s Next For the Family?
The family will likely spend a lot of quiet time at home since the pandemic continues. However, fans still keep up with them on social media. We may even hear about Nikki Bella and Matteo now and then when Dancing With The Stars returns in September. Nikki’s fiance, Artem Chigvintsev, returns to the cast as a pro dancer. He’s apparently very excited to return and was disappointed he wasn’t part of the cast last season.
“Last season, watching from the sidelines, really made me realize how much I really miss the show, miss performing live,” Artem said. “I just can’t wait to get back. I want to dedicate this season to my little boy.”
