‘Married At First Sight’s’ Brett Surprises By Not Wanting To Sleep With Olivia On Wedding Night
Right from the start, fans were skeptical about Brett, 35, on Married at First Sight. He is dubbed a serial dater for the 45 women he has dated in the past. However, maybe sowing all those wild oats has done the trick or Olivia, 30, has changed him. Brett opens up to say he doesn’t want to sleep with Olivia on the wedding night. He would like to let “natural chemistry run its course” between them.

At the start of Season 11 of Married at First Sight, viewers doubted the serial dater’s intentions towards Olivia. However, in the latest episode, it seems Brett may have changed his ways for the better. Either that or his new wife Olivia has made him change his ways.
During the Married at First Sight Matchmaking Special Brett didn’t appear to be a good fit for the social experiment. This is especially so, considering the Louisiana native’s sweet and kind-hearted fiancé Olivia. His open admittance to dating 45 women and several occurrences of inappropriate behavior didn’t bode well.

On the plus side, Brett and Olivia are both cat people as she found out at the altar. In fact, Olivia has admitted that before the experiment, she was likely to become the proverbial cat lady. On top of this, there is a glimpse of the potential for the unlikely pair to find true love.
First night as a married couple
Wednesday’s episode of Married at First Sight saw the five new couples spending their first night together as husband and wife. However, when Brett and Olivia prepare for bed, he opens up in a confessional about his hopes for the night.
The new husband says he is more anxious now than before the wedding. This is because he is excited to spend more time with Olivia. He says if making love happens, it happens. However, that night he is hoping they will really get to know each other and “let the natural chemistry run its course.”
Married at First Sight: before the wedding
When Brett and the other grooms meet on the day before their wedding, they speak about their ideal outcome for the wedding night. Brett has a different opinion to the other grooms about what should happen. After Bennett asks about consummating the marriage on the first night, Brett says it is easy. Olivia’s husband says normally he is a “consummator.” Something has clearly changed since then. It may have been his nerves about meeting Olivia, or too much alcohol that led him to respond that way.
While there has only been one night so far of the marriage, he does seem to have changed his tune. As noted by Screen Rant, while before he looked like a playboy, maybe there is a good side to Brett. This could be what the experts saw in him when matching him with Olivia on Married at First Sight.
