‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Season 9 Brings New Cast, Old Ones Back Again
The new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo drops on Tuesday, February 12, and the ladies are dropping it like it’s hot. Between the filming of Season 8 and 9, rumors swirled that Lisa Vanderpump quit the show over drama with her castmates. Given that the trailer revolves mostly around her, it’s safe to say that she didn’t quit.
Lies are the forefront of the Season 9 trailer released by Bravo in early December. Various cast members can be heard calling someone else in the cast a liar. There has been rampant speculation that Lisa Vanderpump is at the center of these lies and it resulted in a falling out with the rest of the cast that got so bad, Vanderpump refused to film with the other stars.
Along with Vanderpump, the other returning ladies are Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna. There’s a new housewife on the block and you probably know her mainly from her blockbuster movie Wild Things and her marriage to Charlie Sheen. Yes, actress Denise Richards is joining the cast.
Another Richards Sister?
Despite having the same last name, Denise Richards isn’t related to RHOBH sisters Kyle and Kim Richards. Viewers know Kim Richards was absent for Season 8 of the hit show, but you can expect a few special appearances by her and some other former castmates in Season 9! It would be shocking if Kim ever came back full-time.
Welcome Back, Grammer
One of the former cast members returning for sporadic appearances as a “guest of the Housewives” is none other than Camille Grammer. Her nuptials will be a huge part of this season’s storylines.
Newcomer Denise Richards makes a splash in her housewife premiere, allowing the show to film her surprise wedding. It’s safe to assume her three children (she shares two daughters with Charlie Sheen and adopted another daughter as a single mom in 2011) will be featured on the show. This will shake things up on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Surprise Return
The trailer includes a quick glimpse of Denise Richards waiting in a restaurant for someone to join her. That someone turns out to be none other than Brandi Glanville, the no-filter villain who left the show in 2015 after clashing with most of the other housewives. Brandi currently stars with her father on WEtv’s Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition.
This season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is sure to bring the drama. Be sure to catch the Season 9 premiere on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 9/8c on Bravo.
