Derick Dillard appears to have a new mustache and some Counting On fans are not here for it.

The new mustache has appeared on both Derick and Jill’s Instagram.

Jill Dillard first showed off her husband’s new facial hair toward the beginning of the month. Derick, on the other hand, did not treat his fans to his fresh, new look until six days ago.

Three days ago, Jill shared a collection of snaps of her family. One of the photos featured Derick smiling while showing off how full his mustache had grown in. He also rocked a pair of glasses.

Over the past week, fans have been EXTREMELY vocal in the comments of both Jill and Derick’s Instagram posts. Overall, Counting On fans aren’t really feeling the mustache. In fact, Derick even has some fans begging him to ditch it. They do not believe it is doing him any favors.

Counting On fans swarm Instagram comments with opinions on the facial hair.

Between Duggar Facebook fan groups and the comments on Instagram… Fans had A LOT to say about the new mustache. Many, however, made a point to make it clear it wasn’t Derick that they had an issue with. These individuals clarified while they love Derick and his wife… The mustache was a huge issue. Here’s some of what fans are saying in the comments:

“Derick I love y’all but get rid of that Mustache.”
“Derrick looks like the dude you warned your kids about offering puppies from a tinted out van.”
“I can’t even with the mustache.”
“I love you guys, but Derrick’s mustache need to head back to the 70’s!”

The general consensus was that the mustache was creepy, outdated, and truly didn’t fit his face.

Duggar fans don’t seem to care for facial hair.

This certainly isn’t the first time fans have crucified a member of the Duggar family over facial hair. Ben Seewald rocked a pretty unique mustache not too long ago. Noticeably, Ben did not share too many photos on Instagram featuring himself rocking the mustache. Fans, however, were thrilled when he ditched it for a clean shaved look.

In a thread on a Duggar Facebook group, some fans noticed Derick Dillard looked a lot like George Harvey (played by Stanley Tucci) from The Lovely Bones. The Lovely Bones is a movie about a girl who is tricked, assaulted, and murdered by Harvey. The young girl proceeds to watch her family struggle with her death from Heaven.
