Duggar: Jessa Seewald Called Out For ‘Baby Talk’
On social media, Jessa Duggar Seewald documented her daughter Ivy’s first steps. She’s reaching an exciting milestone, and the video is pretty sweet. Ivy takes her first steps
In the new video that Jessa shared, Ivy is taking her first steps. The mom cheers excitedly as Ivy walks toward her from across the room. Little Ivy also seems to be thrilled to be becoming more mobile. As Ivy walks, Jessa counts each step she takes. Jessa also reveals that Ivy took steps throughout the week. But now, “she’s really starting to take off!”
In the video, Jessa excitedly says, “Yes, you made it. You’re a big girl, yes you are. You’re going to show grandma and grandpa how you walk.”
The cute video gained a lot of attention from Duggar fans. Almost 100,000 fans “liked” the video on Instagram in just one day. They think that Ivy is adorable and they’re happy to see her walking around. She seems to be getting the hang of it quickly. They remind Jessa that she is growing up quickly. With Ivy’s birthday coming up at the end of May, Jessa is likely aware of how fast her little girl has grown up.

Duggar fans dislike Jessa’s “baby talk”
While the post received mostly positive comments, there are always fans, critics, and trolls who have something negative to say. Even if a fan really likes Jessa, they might find things they don’t like about her. This time around, someone made a comment about the way Jessa talks to Ivy in the video. They wrote, “Ugh… I hate when parents and others use baby talk.” Someone else replied to the comment and suggested that the fan doesn’t watch the videos anymore if they’re going to be critical of Jessa.
Even though there are a handful of negative comments on Jessa’s post, most Duggar fans are excited to see Ivy taking her first steps. They appreciate the fact that Jessa shares these fun milestones with them.
