Tristan Thompson Discusses Taking Paternity Test With Khloé Kardashian
A source tells People Tristan Thompson “was ‘open’ with Khloé Kardashian about taking a paternity test.” In January 2020 a woman claimed that Tristan is the father of her child. “Tristan has been open with Khloé from the beginning when it comes to the paternity test. He told her that he needed to take the test, but also that he didn’t believe that he is the dad,” says a source.

Consequently, People reports that according to documents obtained by E!News, Tristan and Khloé sent a cease and desist letter to the woman, Kimberly Alexander. According to E!News, the letter states, “to immediately stop defaming them with malicious defamatory lies and specious fabrications.” Representing the duo is their former lawyer, Marty Singer. Singer confirms that Thompson took a paternity test and that the results were negative.

Luckily, this accusation doesn’t seem to affect the current status of Khloé and Tristan’s relationship. The source tells People, “Khloé and Tristan have both worked hard to get to the point where they are now.” Additionally, the source says, “Regardless of the issues that Khloé has with Tristan, he has always been a responsible and great dad. Khloé will continue to support Tristan.” Whereas, Kimberly attempts to characterize Tristan as a “deadbeat dad who allegedly does not support his children.”
The Importance of Family
Remarkably, this situation goes to show how much value the Kardashian’s place on family. While Khloé and Tristan may not be together (at the moment), they are doing a phenomenal job of working together to do what is in the best interest of their child, True, 2.

Additionally, the parents chose to spend quarantine together finding it in the best interest of their daughter. Tristan may not be able to catch a break, but neither can Khloé as rumors spread like wildfire that she is pregnant. Khloé is quick to shut down rumors. Taking to Twitter she writes, “I don’t go on social platforms much these days AND this is one of the main reason as to why I stay away. The sick and hurtful things people say. I am disgusted by so many things I am seeing. SMH people swear they know everything about me. Including my uterus. Sick.”
Further illustrating the co-parent dynamic, they spent Mother’s Day together as a family. “They are amazing co-parents and are able to give True a great upbringing together,” reports the source. Khloé and Tristan are on such good terms, regardless of all the scandals, that they have even discussed having a second child together. Tristan is also father to Prince, 3, with his ex Jordan Craig.
