Tyler Cameron’s First Mother’s Day Without His Mom, How Did He Honor Her?
Mother’s Day is a day everyone honors their moms. For some this day is hard as their mother’s are no longer here. Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron is one of those facing Mother’s Day without his mom by his side this year. She may be gone from earth, but will never be forgotten by her sons who loved her so.
Tyler honors his late mother
E! News shared details about how Tyler honored his mom on Mother’s Day. Tyler shared a photo of himself with his mom. He captioned the photo, “Always had my back. Still do.”
Austin Cameron also shared a sweet sentiment and photo on Instagram. He posted a picture of his mother holding him as a baby. He captioned saying, “Make sure you hug your Momma a little tighter today. Happy Mother’s Day to all my mothers out there!”
Andrea lost her life suddenly in late February. She suffered from a brain aneurysm. After her passing, Tyler opened up and shared her final moments on earth with his followers. His mom was an organ donor and he shared her walk of honor at the hospital. The walk of honor is when a loved one is shown tribute as they are led to the operating room to harvest their organs for donation. The Cameron boys followed behind her gurney.
Tyler admitted he struggled with the decision on whether or not to share the video. Then he said he realized his mom would have wanted him to if it meant more people being open to the option of donating their own organs.

The Cameron boys also started a charity for their mom
Following Andrea’s sudden death, the Cameron brothers started a GoFundMe for charity in her honor. People shared that Austin Cameron initiated the GoFundMe. The family wrote on the page saying, “We are developing a charitable foundation so that she can continue to impact others as she has always done; we feel this is the best way to continue her legacy of giving.” They continued, “In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to the GoFundMe account so we can begin our quest of serving others like she had her entire life.”
The day Andrea passed Tyler shared a photo showing the three boys holding Andrea’s hand. He said, “Today heaven gained an angel.”
The Cameron boys are still grieving their mother and Tyler has vowed to be there to help his brothers through it all. He has said one reason he is not currently dating is because they are his main focus. The most important thing to him is taking care of his brothers. Family is everything.
