Gavin Rossdale Struggling To Co-Parent With Gwen Stefani

Gavin Rossdale On His Own Path From Gwen Stefani
When Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani were together, they were a very happy couple. At least, it looked that way from what people saw from the outside. Unfortunately, their relationship fizzled after twenty years together and three children. In 2015, they filed for divorce, and the following year, it was finalized. Gwen quickly moved on with fellow The Voice coach, Blake Shelton, and they tied the knot in 2021. Whenever Father’s Day rolls around, she praises him for loving and supporting her sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.
Now, Gavin is breaking his silence about what it’s like to co-parent with Gwen, and apparently, it is not easy. He notes that they are making it work, but that they have their own roads that they travel and never quite come together:
“It is an interesting kind of [relationship]. It’s a two-lane highway, you know, but they don’t ever seem to merge, which is fine.”
Despite this, the Los Angeles, California-based Gavin Rossdale firmly believes that he and Gwen Stefani are doing their best. Moreover, Gavin feels that the most important thing is to ensure that they have children whom people actually like. He does not want to raise “jerks,” as he put it:
“Life is hard enough without being a jerk, without being kind of aware of other people, mindful of other people, considerate of other people, empathetic.”
Another Tough Road
Gwen Stefani is not just having a hard road with Gavin Rossdale. She has been met with scrutiny over facial procedures and fans feeling she has gone too far. Additionally, she has seen backlash for her political views, and there have been rumors that her marriage is in jeopardy. Gwen is a city girl and loves California, whereas Blake Shelton loves his farm. They have had to compromise, and it is questionable if they will make it on the long haul. However, time will tell what happens with Gwen and Gavin’s co-parenting as well as her marriage.
