Oklahoma Teen Choked Unconscious As Teammates Watched & Laughed

Oklahoma Teen Choked Unconscious
Some stories about high school athletes are positive, and they use their resources to help and assist. Then others are heartbreaking, and the cruelty in this world is devastating. Such was the case with an Oklahoma teenager who was choked unconscious while his teammates looked on. Not only did they watch what was happening, but they laughed at the suffering. This all went down in a locker room at Caney Valley High School and was actually filmed. A supposed football player grabbed a fellow classmate and proceeded to wrap his arms around the student’s neck.
As he tried to break free and was visibly struggling and suffering, the other teammates cheered on this sick act. The student soon lost consciousness and fell to the ground. One member of the team stated that he was dead, while another was shocked that it went so far. Despite lying on the ground, there was an attempt to resuscitate the boy, but with no success. To make matters worse, the victim’s family had no idea this transpired until the video came out on social media. This allegedly all happened on August 15th, and the school stated that they do not celebrate this behavior.
The police department shared that they had no idea what happened, and the Oklahoma school never reported it. Like the family, Chief J. Blevins found out what went down on August 28th. He saw the video on social media, and that alerted him to what went down. However, by the time it occurred, the PD was no longer involved with the school, and they had their own force. It does seem the aggressor has been suspended for the time being, but the victim’s mother is livid over the incident.
Sick Behavior
The mother of the Oklahoma victim shared that she had no idea what went down. Yet, Brandi Park expressed what had happened and how her son suffered:
“I was never contacted by the school. [The school has] been telling everyone it was resolved, that there’s no problem. But Mommy found out about it last night — and I’m furious.”
She went on to note that her son, 15, was unconscious, suffered a seizure, and foamed at the mouth. That is a disturbing thing for any parent to learn or see. Allegedly, Brandi stated that the coach did not take any emergency measures. Rather, he gave her son water and sent him on his way, which fueled the anger. Her son has returned to school and was not suspended, but is struggling. He had been mocked for what happened, and they are now seeking legal action.
