Khloe Kardashian Says She Looked Like A ‘Cartoon,’ Changed Her Ways
Khloe Kardashian is getting candid about her use of Photoshop. The reality star shared on her podcast, Khloe In Wonderland, that she no longer believes in heavily photoshopping her pictures. Khloe Kardashian Admits To Pressure To Photoshop
Khloe Kardashian has received a lot of criticism over the years for heavily photoshopping her pictures. People have said she “Photoshops every picture” that she posts. Khloe addressed the rumors of her using Photoshop on her podcast, Khloe In Wonderland. She explained, “(I) wouldn’t dare post a photo without heavily Photoshopping.” Kardashian explained that she no longer heavily photoshops her images, but at one time, she did.
Khloe Kardashian explained that she felt pressure from other people to heavily photoshop herself. She also explained that she felt the culture at the time was to photoshop pictures. Khloe explained that people, including herself, “Got consumed in this filter lifestyle and we couldn’t see ourselves without a filter.” She further explained that she often doesn’t feel good about herself in photos.
Khloe Kardashian Says Photoshop Made Her Look Like A Cartoon
Khloe Kardashian explained that she prefers to take videos of herself as she doesn’t think she looks good in stills. In addition, she explained that she will often take over 500 photos just to get a few usable pictures. Khloe confessed that her old photoshopped pictures make her look like a “cartoon character” in her old photos, “and it’s humiliating that I thought that was even a version of myself.” The Kardashians star confessed that the use of Photoshop often confused her self-image. She said:
“I was around people who were all doing that. And if they took my photo they would make me look that way before giving it to me. And then I would think that’s how I looked. And if I got paparazzied, I’d be like, ‘I don’t look like that. I look like this photo.’ And I really had to reprogram my mind to be like, okay, we have to lay off the filters. This isn’t real. That’s not how I look. And I don’t want to look like that. It was a strange time.”
Khloe Kardashian explained that she has new preferences when she takes pictures. She said that she likes to focus on using good lighting. She also takes multiple shots at once so she can pick the best version. She said that she no longer photoshops every photo.
