Savannah Chrisley Slid into Robert Shiver’s DM’s Over His Ex-Wife

Savannah Chrisley, 23, is the daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley.  Todd and Julie  Chrisley have five kids total Savannah being second oldest. Savannah Chrisley and Robert Shriver’s relationship began in a different way than most would expect. It all started with a simple Instagram DM. Savannah, who had been following Robert Shriver’s legal drama, reached out to him after his ex-wife, Lindsay Shriver, was arrested for allegedly attempting to kill him. In August 2023, Lindsay was accused of conspiring with two men to hire a hitman to murder Robert. Amid the chaos and media attention surrounding the case, Savannah Chrisley sent Robert a message on Instagram. The messages wrote, ” Hey, I’ll be praying for you.” Robert who was aware of Savannah Chrisley but didn’t know who she was personally, remembered her name but wasn’t sure what to make of the message. When he received the DM he thought “That name sounds familiar.” His reply was a simple “Thanks.”  Savannah Chrisley jokingly responded to that message with ” Oh you’re really trying to act cool? Don’t even.” That DM was the beginning of a connection that would grow over the next several months.

In Person

The couple kept messaging each other to build a foundation for their relationship. Eventually, Savannah Chrisley, who was in Boston for a Morgan Wallen concert, and Robert who had plans to visit Los Angeles. Made arrangements to meet in person. They both were staying at the same hotel in Boston just two doors down from each other when they finally crossed paths. It didn’t take long for them to hit it off. Savannah said when they got in the car to head to the concert, they ended up holding hands almost immediately.

” We were afraid of photos coming out, so we kept our social distancing until we didn’t.”

For Robert the attraction was instant. He enjoyed the simplicity and sincerity of Savannah, something that stood out to him in the middle of all the chaos and media attention surrounding his case. Savannah Chrisley is drawn to Robert’s grounded nature, she also said that she liked that he is ” A normal person.”

Over a year later, the couple is still together. From the first Instagram DM to unexpected concert dates, their connection has proven that even in the most unusual circumstances, love can find you in unexpected ways.
