Jay-Z was named in a r*pe scandal linked with Diddy over an incident that allegedly took place after the VMAs in 2000 at an after-party, also allegedly involving a minor. Just this scandal alone has been enough to paint Jay-Z in a bad light, and they have been trying to do damage control ever since.

An insider recently spoke to The US Sun about the situation, adding that these recent moves by Beyonce reflect “her keen awareness of personal branding and legacy building.”
The source continued, adding that through this, Beyonce has demonstrated “her understanding of intellectual property in a way that shields her family and aligns with her brand narrative of empowerment and ownership.”

Jay-Z NFL Partnership Threatened Amid Scandal
It turns out, it has not been just Blue Ivy’s potential future that has been put at risk by this recent scandal. There were reports that the NFL could cut ties with Jay-Z and his Roc Nation brand because of everything that has been going on related to this situation.
As for Diddy, he is awaiting trial later this year, and has been in a Brooklyn detention center for some time. This entire saga continues to be big news, as new allegations seem to emerge almost daily.
