My Big Fat Fabulous Life Season 12 showed Whitney Way Thore struggling with turning forty. However, as she began to rediscover her passion for dance, it was the gateway for her to lift her spirits. Although Whitney gets backlash for her weight and her dancing, she is still working on her personal journey. In a recent video, fans compliment Whitney calling her “skinny” after seeing her dancing with a fan.
Whitney Way Thore Is Keeping Her Promise To Dance More
Recently, My Big Fat Fabulous Life star, Whitney Way Thore shared a devasting loss she went through. While she is mourning the loss of her friend and coach, Will Powell, she is also celebrating the people around her. As she enters 2025, she is trying to have a positive attitude and keep dancing. For longtime viewers of the show, Whitney has gone through a journey to show life can be fabulous at any weight. However, since weight can bring many health issues, she is focusing on losing pounds even with the struggles of PCOS. In a video with a beautiful young fan, she shows off her “skinny” for fans.
She Gives A Big Shout Out To Penelope
On MBFFL star, Whitney Way Thore’s Instagram page, she praised one young budding dancer for her hard work. In a video, Whitney shows her dance class and gives one special girl the spotlight. Squeezing her in, Whitney says, “Penelope, are you my best and most favorite student?” In the camera frame, the little girl smiles and quietly says, “Yes.” Then, Whitney grins and adds, “That’s right, you are.”
Additionally, Whitney captions: “But can we hear it for Penelope? 🥹 🥇 best student 🥇 most favorite student 🥇 most confident.” Furthermore, Penelope and the class show off their dancing skills in the clip. Likewise, Penelope is shining in her moments on camera as she loves moving her body with the class.

While some MBFFL fans were extra proud of Penelope’s dancing and Whitney Way Thore for being a role model, others can’t believe how thin Whitney looks.
