‘Today’ Has Big Plans For Final Hoda Kotb ‘Hoda-bration’ Episode
Hoda Kotb’s time on The Today Show is quickly coming to an end. While her retirement announcement came with a few months to say goodbye, time is flying by, and she only has two more weeks before she finally says farewell for good. However, the big news is that the show has a “Hoda-bration” in store for her final episode.

Hoda Kotb’s Final Week On Today Will End With A ‘Hoda-Bration’
Hoda Kotb will finally say goodbye to her co-hosts and fans at home on January 10. That will be her final appearance on The Today Show as a regular host. While she will almost surely come back to visit, the fans know this will be the end of an era for the morning talk show. The network knows as well and will have a huge celebration on her final day.
“You all know that Hoda’s last day is January 10, right? We’re celebrating you the whole week before. And today, we have a big announcement,” Jenna Bush Hager said on The Today Show this week (via Us Weekly). “We are having a ‘Hoda-bration’ for Hoda’s final show.”
This will be a very special celebration, and it will move out of the personal studio setting. Instead, it will be held in Rockefeller Plaza’s Studio 8G and feature a live studio audience. “There will be big surprises, lots of surprises that Hoda won’t even know about,” Bush Hager said.
Hoda seemed surprised at the announcement and simply responded, “You guys, that’s awesome.” Tickets to attend as part of the live audience are now available via the show’s website.
Jenna Hints At Who Will Replace Hoda Kotb On Today Show
As already announced, Craig Melvin will replace Hoda Kotb in her position as one of the main hosts of The Today Show. However, this will not be what happens on the hour that starred Hoda and Jenna Bush Hager. Instead, that will focus on Jenna now, but with a revolving rotation of co-hosts.
Jenna has not said much about the format of the segment other than its new name of Today With Jenna & Friends. However, she did make a comment on the episode while talking about the “Hoda-Bration.” She said that information about her upcoming co-hosts will come after the holidays.
According to reports, the rotating group of co-hosts is temporary until they find the perfect person to step up as the new permanent replacement for Hoda Kotb in the segment.
