It’s not an exaggeration to say that, even before Ryan Seacrest ever set foot on the Wheel Of Fortune set, he had big shoes to fill. Taking the reins from someone like Pat Sajak, who hosted the beloved program for decades, is no easy task for anyone.
As much as Ryan Seacrest has done his best to put his unique signature on things in this new Wheel Of Fortune era, there have been many bumps in the road along the way. Based on recent updates, Ryan Seacrest gave a speech in front of the Wheel Of Fortune cast and crew during a special holiday luncheon. Even though not all fans have welcomed Ryan into the fold, it seems that the crew has, and they seem to have a great working relationship so far.

Wheel Of Fortune: Ryan Seacrest Opens Up About Biggest Fear
While enjoying the lunch with the Wheel Of Fortune cast and crew (including Vanna White and Maggie Sajak), Ryan Seacrest gave a moving speech. He even confessed his biggest fear when it came to taking over for such an iconic host and pop culture personality like Pat Sajak.
Ryan Seacrest said: “I just wanted to say thank you for welcoming me to this family. To follow in the footsteps of her father, who is a legend, who is incredible at what he does, and Vanna built over the years, I was scared to death.”
Ryan Seacrest then went on to say that his time working at Wheel Of Fortune has been the most “exciting time” for him in terms of not just this new gig, but also in the context of his hugely successful career. So, as more and more fans continue to warm up to him in his new role, Seacrest is clearly doing something right.
