‘Price Is Right’ Drew Carey Takes On Viral Dance Trend
Drew Carey has become known to game show fans as the host of The Price Is Right. However, he recently made news for something captured after filming for the show. Carey and the show’s crew tackled a recent viral dance trend.
Drew Carey Team Up With Three Of His Price Is Right Co-Stars
Carey has been the host of The Price Is Right for CBS since 2007, having taken on the role from Bob Barker. He is also known for starring in his own namesake sitcom, The Drew Carey Show, and hosting the U.S. version of Whose Line Is It Anyway?
The Price Is Right model Amber Lancaster recently shared a video of Carey during some downtime with some of the other crew members. This video, which appeared on Lancaster’s TikTok and Instagram accounts, included fellow model James O’Halloran and announcer George Gray.
In the video, the four co-workers posed on stage around a giant dollar sign. Amber was seen on one knee while George and James leaned on parts of the set. Meanwhile, Drew appeared to be sleeping.
Set to Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know.” James appears front and center performing leg lunges. Soon, the other three castmates each perform their own dance. Drew, for example, could be seen bopping his head.
The Video Was Inspired By A Netherlands-Based Dance Troupe
Each time, only one castmate is dancing, while the others remain frozen or do not appear in the frame. The video ends, however, with each of the castmates performing their dance moves together.
On both the TikTok and Instagram versions of the video, Lancaster caption the TikTok video: “So grateful for a cast that puts up with my lunch break shenanigans,” paired with a winky face emoji. On Instagram, the video was also shared by James O’Halloran and George Gray.

As noted by Monsters & Critics, the TikTok version of the video has reached at least 136,000 views. The Instagram post has earned over 183,000 views, with 230 comments.
On Instagram, one user wrote, “I feel like this is totally up Drew’s alley.” Another shared, “It’s good to see you guys have some fun. You could actually tell you did before this video, but it is good to see that you have fun.”
Inspiration for the video comes from a trend started by the Dutch dance troupe, CDK Company. In a video, they performed their unique dance to the Gotye song. As noted by Monster’s & Critics, the original video has gained more than 16 million views on YouTube.
