Hallmark are gifting fans an early Christmas movie. They are releasing all of their 2024 Countdown To Christmas and Miracles Of Christmas movies to the rebranded Hallmark+ streaming channel. This is a reversal of the network’s original decision to wait 6-9 months before releasing new movies.

However, that is not the only change. In addition, they made a major change when they stream 2025 linear movies on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery. Here are all the details.

Hallmark Channel Changes When Movies On Linear Channels Go To Streaming

Perhaps the biggest news about the streaming channel is for 2025. Hallmark is going to make all new original movies that air on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery available to stream the next day. Already, the network does this with its two series, When Calls The Heart and The Way Home.

However, with the exception of two episodes of Finding Mr. Christmas, original Hallmark+ content has not made it to the linear channels. However, it seems that Hallmark Mystery will air The Jane Mysteries: Inheritance Lost on Thursday, January 9, at 8 p.m., Eastern. Hallmark+ originally dropped this Jodie Sweetin mystery in September. But, there is no current information on when the other two mysteries will premiere on Hallmark Mystery.
