‘Sister Wives’ Call Out Kody & Robyn’s ‘Codependent’ Love Story
Sister Wives fans are calling out Kody and Robyn Brown’s “codependent” love story. They are the last ones standing from the plural family and some wonder if it’s true love. Or, if there is more to the story at this point. Keep reading for further details as to what is going on with their interesting relationship.
Sister Wives Call Out ‘Codependent’ Kody & Robyn
Viewers watched Robyn come into the Brown family when Sister Wives began in 2010. She claimed she had a list of what she was looking for and Kody Brown checked the boxes. Furthermore, she wanted to give her three kids from a previous marriage the best life possible and loved the idea of joining a family like the Browns. There were three wives, and twelve kids with one on the way and they ran like a well-oiled machine. Kody was on a rotation, keeping each wife satisfied, and it was the perfect storm.
However, it was clear to anyone who saw Kody and Robyn together that he was smitten with her. As time went on, he was with her more than the other families. Even his older children sensed that there was something different about Robyn. By 2019, the family had moved from Utah to Las Vegas to Flagstaff and was really falling apart. Christine Brown Woolley was the first to leave followed by Janelle Brown. Meri Brown was the last one standing as she and Robyn were always close but that faded over time.

Now, it is just Kody and Robyn, living in monogamy and he would never quite admit that she was his favorite. He finally shared she was his soulmate which appeared to hurt him but Sister Wives fans are curious if they really love each other. A Reddit thread was started to address this with the OP questioning if they “settled” for each other. One follower responded with this:
- They have some kind of unhealthy codependency going on.
It’s Settled
Yes, it would make sense that some would believe that Robyn and Kody Brown settled for each other. He is out of wives and he is her second husband. Therefore, why would she want to leave? It was also noted that as long as Sister Wives is on, Robyn is making a paycheck. So, did other followers think they settled or were codependent on each other?

Neither one of these two is capable of real love for another person. They are manipulators. It’s sad for them, sad for their kids!
- As long as they have the money, the newly purchased mansion and all their garbage collections…they’re “happy”.
- I do not. I think they are each in love with themselves. They are two weirdos who found each other.
- I think he’s obsessed with her and I think she is pretending to be happy.
Fans have turned it into a very strange and interesting relationship. Whether or not Robyn can be alone with Kody for the foreseeable future is questionable.

I think TLC is trying hard to make Kody, Robyn and the girls revelent. Kody acts completely stupid when talking about Robyn. Who cares? None of us do! I noticed long ago, Robyn rarily brought her kids around the other kids. Then, she can’t understand why the other kids weren’t treating them the same? How do they get to know them and accept them as siblings if Robyn doesn’t let them? Now. all of a sudden, here are these girls on camera acting like little puppets. Aurora always has the look on her face that she’s getting ready to burst out crying! Just like her mother. TLC, we don’t care to here Kody and Robyn’s sweet little love affair stories! Save them please for someone who does! Kody has to pay for that new house so they are hard up to stay on the show. He brought the big guns out by trying to work Robyn’s kids into the story when they have no story’s to tell that anyone cares to hear about. Maybe once they grow up and act their ages, something might happen worthy of showing!
