Bradford Anderson Compares New ‘GH’ Stories To A Reality Show
Fans have recently seen quite a few changes happening in Port Charles, especially with characters leaving General Hospital. One actor from the series, Bradford Anderson, has recently spoken up about these changes. In fact, he even recently compared the soap to a certain reality series.
Bradford Anderson Was Talking On A Podcast About Developments In Port Charles
Anderson first joined General Hospital as Damian Spinelli in 2006, initially serving as a comic relief character. Notably, Anderson also appeared as the character in the General Hospital: Night Shift spin-off. The character was also the subject of the book, The Secret Life of Damian Spinelli.
Over the years, Anderson also has taken part in a few other projects, which usually tie into his work on General Hospital. He is part of the rock group, Port Chuck, with co-stars like Steve Burton, Scott Reeves, and Brandon Barash.
Anderson and Burton are also part of a podcast, The Daily Drama. Recently, the two talked about the changes that have recently happened in Port Charles.
Recent events have seen Burton’s character, Jason, move back into the Quartermaine Mansion, helping to raise Danny following Sam’s death. This caused Anderson to joke, “The golden boy comes home.”
Burton noted, “It was multiple conversations with various people about what to do for Danny.” He continued, “To keep him with the kids, not separate all the kids during these times, so the resolution was that I would move back into the Quartermaines.”
The Quartermaine Mansion Reminded Anderson Of One Reality Show In Particular
Anderson was curious if Dominic Zamprogna’s Dante was also living at the mansion. This caused Burton to confirm Jason, Dante, and Drew are living there.
This is what caused Anderson to compare the soap to a reality series. As he put it, “This just became a reality show. The Real World with the Quartermaines.”

Anderson’s joke was a nod to The Real World, also known as Real World, which first came out in the 1990s. The MTV series saw a group of young adults live together in a new city while constantly being filmed. Notably, the series is credited with launching the modern reality show.
Burton also shared he’s curious to see how Jane Elliot’s Tracy will react to all the people staying at the house. This caused Anderson to joke, “How many bedrooms in the Quarrtermaine house, do you think?”
As noted by Soap Hub, Burton listed the mansion’s gatehouse, the guest house, and even the stables, which house various characters. Anderson then began to count how many bedrooms were needed. As Anderson noted, “This is the most interesting house that has ever been.”
