A man who believes rapper Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter is his biological father recently shared claims in a recent suit. Through the suit, the man and his family also shared the fallout that took place since his mother first filed for a paternity test. Notably, this comes out after Carter had been named in a refiled civil suit concerning Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The New Case Concerns Property In New Jersey

Rymir Satterthwaite has long believed his biological father is rapper Jay-Z, with his mother having him when she was just 16 years old. For his part, Jay-Z has denied these allegations.

Satterthwaite has recently filed a new lawsuit against the New Jersey court system. As he alleges, judges “conspired” with Jay-Z to have cases relating to his paternity for over a decade.

According to papers filed in New Jersey, Satterthwaite and his godmother Lillie Coley claimed Jay-Z lied he had no property in New Jersey. Due to that, the court had no apparent jurisdiction over him.

However, as noted by The U.S. Sun, the suit alleges that Carter’s name is on property deeds and tax records. As the suit claims, six judges “conspired with party Carter who continued to misrepresent …that he did not have property in New Jersey.”

Jay-Z Was The Subject Of A Paternity Test Filing In 2010

Carter is not directly listed as a defendant in the most recent court filing. However, he is still mentioned several times. Reportedly, Carter has legally fought Satterthwaite, his godmother, and his late mother, Wanda, many times over the years. The legal battles concerning the case first started in 2010, when Wanda filed for a paternity test.

The suit also makes claims concerning incidents that have happened to Satterthwaite and his family following the legal battles. At one point, for example, Satterthwaite alleged his car was “shot at by unknown individuals.” Both he and his godmother also claimed, “unknown individuals follow them within the community.”

Back in 2022, Satterthwaite’s family was made to pay $15,000 in legal fees to the rapper. They claim this caused an “illegal liens” to be placed on their New Jersey home. Ultimately, they feel they’ve lost $100,000 due to the legal battles. Through the new suit, Satterthwaite’s family has asked for damages.

Notably, the news comes out as Jay-Z has recently named in a refiled suit that alleged the rapper had raped an underage victim alongside rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs. Jay-Z wasn’t named in the original suit back when it was filed in October, only being named after it was recently amended.

According to the suit, the incident took place after the MTV VMAS in 2000. For his part, Carter denied the allegations, calling the situation a “blackmail attempt.”
