Leslie Fhima Breaks Silence On ‘Golden Bachelorette’ Offer
Golden Bachelor alum Leslie Fhima has been making some media rounds this month and talking about many things including her time on the show. In one of her most recent podcast appearances, she dished on The Golden Bachelorette and also gave some inside information on Dancing With the Stars. What she had to say is rather shocking. Leslie Fhima Breaks Silence On Golden Bachelorette Opportunity
Leslie Fhima was heartbroken when Gerry Turner decided to not choose her for the final rose. Many felt she got the short end of the stick in the beginning and wanted to see her get another chance at love. She appeared to be one of the top choices for the first-ever Golden Bachelorette.
However, it was eventually announced that Joan Vassos was taking on the role. Leslie was left out in the cold once again. She appeared on the Bachmakers podcast recently and revealed whether or not she was even offered the opportunity to be the lead.
As it turns out, Leslie was never even in talks to be The Golden Bachelorette. It had been speculated that perhaps she had even turned down the chance. None of that is fact.
Leslie said that she would have 100% accepted the offer to be The Golden Bachelorette. However, ABC never even reached out to her at all.
What She Said About Dancing With the Stars
Leslie Fhima also dished on her dream to be on Dancing With the Stars. According to Leslie, it was basically a sealed deal that she would be on Season 33. She even hired a personal trainer to get her in really good shape. With their help, she was in the best shape of her life.
However, in August, Leslie revealed that they decided to use someone else instead of her. Her dream was shattered. In the midst of her training physically for DWTS, she was offered to do a show on Hulu. However, she declined because of the dance competition. Leslie shared that she learned to never close any doors until something is 100% happening.
She didn’t think she was going to get nixed right before the season began. In the future, Leslie also shared that she would love the opportunity and it would be a dream come true for her.
