Lori Loughlin Plays A Cop In New Police Drama ‘On Call’
Prime Video recently release a trailer for the upcoming Dick Wolf series On Call. The series already boasts a few familiar faces, including actress Lori Loughlin of Full House fame as a cop. Viewers are already getting a glimpse at Loughlin in her new role with the series’ trailer.
The Series Will See A Veteran Officer Team Up With A Rookie
On Call will follow a rookie and a veteran officer who pair up in Long Beach, California. The series will also make use of all sorts of techniques for filming, like bodycams and cellphones, to simulate police procedures.
Troian Bellisario, best known for her work on Pretty Little Liars, is set to star in the series. She will play Officer Traci Harmon, who will be paired off with Brandon Larracuente, known for 13 Reasons Why, playing her rookie partner, Officer Alex Diaz.
People also shared the series’ official logline. Bellisario’s character is described as “a seasoned twelve-year veteran and training officer with a strong moral compass that has defined her approach to policing, even if that puts her at odds with new law enforcement policies.”
Meanwhile, Larracuente’s character was described as “an ambitious rookie. His character “grapples with holding onto his optimistic outlook as he realizes the challenges he’ll face in today’s climate.”
In an official trailer for the series, Harmon could be heard saying, “We think we know what this job is until you get that one call.” This then cuts to scenes of intense police work.

The character later meets Diaz, who confides that he was second in his class, out of three. Harmon assures him, “You know, I’m big on effort. If you can give me effort, I can teach you the best.”
The trailer also hinted at Harmon’s dark past, with Diaz commenting, “I feel like you know everything about me. I know nothing about you.” This then cuts to a scene revealing scars on Harmon’s back and shoulders. She, in turn, replies, “I’ve got some people gunning for me. I don’t want that coming off on you.”
Loughlin makes a brief cameo in the trailer. Her character can be heard saying, “Every move we make is under a microscope.”
According to IMDB, Loughlin’s character was identified as Lieutenant Bishop. Her character is slated to appear in two episodes for the first season.
In addition to Loughlin, other actors set to appear include Eriq La Salle and Rich Ting, Rich Ceraulo Ko, and Mathew Trent Hunnicutt.
