As much as 1000-lb Sisters fans praised Tammy Slaton and everything she has accomplished related to her weight loss, public opinion is quickly turning based on her behavior in TLC scenes, with many fans calling her out as “insufferable.” So, what else are fans saying about Tammy this season?
1000-Lb Sisters Fans Were On Board With Tammy’s Slimming Journey
A lot of 1000-lb Sisters fans changed their tune on Tammy Slaton once they realized she was serious about dropping the pounds. Even people who regularly bashed Tammy over the years started congratulating her for all the progress she has made.
Tammy Slaton went from being at death’s door to being healthier than she has ever been in her life. While that has improved her mental health and certainly her physical health, many 1000-lb Sisters fans don’t like what they are seeing this season from Tammy regarding her attitude.

One of the best examples that 1000-lb Sisters fans point to of Tammy turning a corner for the worse is how she is handling the current feud with Amanda Halterman in scenes. This beef got way bigger than it needed to be, and Tammy has been unwilling to give an inch to repair the situation.
While family beefs from the Slaton siblings always make for good television, many 1000-lb Sisters fans have consistently been calling out Tammy for the way she is choosing to handle the situation. In this aspect, many see it as Tammy regressing to how she used to be, just a skinnier version now.

As much as 1000-lb Sisters fans have supported Tammy Slaton and her weight loss, many fans are turning against her because of her petty behavior in current scenes.

- Another commenter said: “A lot of people bring up that Tammy has trauma from being bullied and having an abusive home life, like that excuses her treating her family like sh**, but can we not pretend like Amy didn’t also get bullied (probably worse considering what’s going on with her eyes) and still manages to not treat her family like sh**?”

Nope.I am 💯 for Tammy. Amanda acts like an adolescent and then cries foul. Tammy is trying to straighten her life out and follow a path that will support her. Tammy needs those boundaries with Amanda.
Like Jewel, I too am 💯 Tammy !!! If you ask me, it’s Amy that needs to grow up. It’s ok to be funny once in awhile, but she’s so ridiculous I can barely stand to watch the show anymore 🙄
Tammy is tired of Amy’s immaturity in public. I can’t blame her for that. Also Tammy is the only one who has stood up to Amanda’s overbearing personality. I really commend Chris for his years of loyalty to all of his sisters.
