‘The Voice’ Fans Feel Show Makes Same Mistake Every Year
The Voice aired its Top 8 episode this week, featuring those eight artists performing live. However, while the performers got to sing songs on their own and perform with a true legend, many fans at home were not happy. These fans said that the show makes the same mistake every year during these performances.
Here is what the fans said made them mad about the performances on the show this week and why it is so frustrating.
The Voice Fans Not Happy With Top 8 Performances
The Voice Top 8 performed this week for the fans in another push to make it to the finale. The singers sang a solo song to show off their talents to the voters, and then they got a chance to sing a second song with Sting, the legend serving as the Mega Mentor this season for Team Snoop and Team Gwen.
The eight singers performing included Sydney Sterlace, Adam Bohanan, Shye, Jan Dan, Jeremy Beloate, Christina Eagle, Danny Joseph, and Sofronio Vasquez. They got another chance to perform for Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, Michael Buble, and Gwen Stefani. More importantly, they had one more chance to perform for the voting fans at home.
By the end of the night, Christina Eagle (Team Snoop), Adam Bohanan (Team Reba), and Jan Dan (Team Gwen) all went home. Danny Joseph (Team Reba) was also in the Bottom Four but was instantly Saved). That leaves five singers left.
With that said, there were many fans who were not happy with the sound of the performances.
The Voice Fans Say The Music Is Too Loud
According to many fans, The Voice made the same mistake every year during these shows. They said the music was too loud. The fans say the music is so loud they can’t hear the singers’ voices.
For a show about the singers trying to win votes as the best on the show, not being able to hear their voices makes it hard to tell who is the best. Here is what the fans had to say (via The U.S. Sun):
- “#thevoice Why tf this ‘background’ music so loud? I can’t even hear the singers.”
- “The audio is awful on the show tonight. All you can hear is echo and background music.”
- “Maybe I need a new TV, I’m also kind of grateful because I’m not enjoying the singers, but I also can’t hear them sing. Turn up the mics.”
- “The band is so loud OR the singers are so bad they are covering them up. Annoying that the background drowns the voices.”

My sister in Minnesota and I in South Carolina thought the Voice music was way too loud for the singers. We couldn’t understand why they didnt increase the volume for the singers. And we were not pleased with the semifinalists.
