Colter Helps A Young Boy In ‘Tracker’ Season 2, Episode 7 ‘Man’s Best Friend’
In the upcoming episode of Tracker Season 2, Episode 7, entitled “Man’s Best Friend,” Colter Shaw accepts a job that is not the norm. However, fans of the CBS adventure series know that Justin Hartley’s character is dedicated to finding loved ones, even if they are the canine variety.

Colter Shaw On An Unusual Search In ‘Man’s Best Friend’
Tracker Season 2 is almost ready for the midseason break. Season 2, Episode 7 of the This Is Us star’s hit series is entitled “Man’s Best Friend.” What is it about? According to Collider, Colter Shaw is not looking for a person. Instead, he is looking for their dog. His client is a young boy who needs Colter’s help. But this is not where the story begins.
The CBS logline is, “When Colter finds a lost dog at a gas station in Denver, and the dog is subsequently stolen from his truck.” Therefore, “Colter makes it his mission to track him down and reunite him with his family.” However, nothing is that simple. When Colter starts to search for this family, he finds that there is some illegal activity that puts the reward seeker in some serious danger.
One of the places that Colter visits is a house frequented by law enforcement. Although there are some sketchy things happening here, there is a young boy who is missing his dog. This child is hanging with law enforcement while his caregiver is being grilled by authorities. Later, Colter checks in with that little boy, Aiden, and learns about the dog.
This is when more of the Shaw backstory is revealed. When he was growing up, the Shaw family had a dog. This brought back memories of time with the pup with Dory and Russell. Therefore, Colter feels a connection to this boy. All the money that this kid has is 177 dollars. Colter knows that this is all he has and appreciates what this means.
But, this job is no cakewalk. This search includes danger and people that mean harm to him. Can Colter find Aiden’s dog?

The premiere of Tracker Season 2, Episode 7, “Man’s Best Friend” is on Sunday, November 24, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on CBS. In addition, viewers can watch this the next day on Paramount+ where all of the previous episodes are available to stream.
