As Amy Slaton Halterman navigates life as a single mother, she’s investing more time and energy into her appearance. On this season of 1000-Lb Sisters, fans have seen her receive a new hairstyle and shop for high heels too.
Lately, it seems like Amy is learning the value of self-worth. She’s been having a blast changing up her appearance over the past few years and fans love seeing her so happy.
In October 2024, Amy uploaded a slide show revealing several before and after makeover photos. In the before photos, she has a short, flirty purple haircut. Fans thought the look was cute enough on its own, but absolutely went wild for the after photos too.
Then she includes some photos of herself in a salon chair, with her hair wrapped up to let the color set in. This is when she received her bright blue color and extensions, which fans can clearly see in the current season of 1000-Lb Sisters.
Amy also noted this was her style in October 2023, so she’s since changed things up again. In the comments section, she wrote, “I have black and purple hair now!”
