Christina Haack ‘Unbothered’ With Split, Promoting New Show
Not everyone would enjoy working with their ex-spouse, but HGTV star Christina Haack makes it work. As viewers enjoy new episodes of Christina in the Country, she’s hard at work filming her other upcoming series, The Flip Off.
The HGTV series is expected to premiere in 2025, so the stars are working hard to pique interest and promote the show. Christina Haack couldn’t be happier to film with her first ex-husband and his current wife. Read on to get the scoop.
Christina Haack Loves Filming The Flip Off Without Josh Hall
The Flip Off isn’t quite what it was when the new show was first advertised. After Josh and Christina Hall divorced, the show parted ways with him and she continued filming single. And according to Christina, she prefers it that way.
“We only filmed together a few times and it was not fun, to be honest. I did not enjoy filming with him. Having split up made this, to be honest, so much easier and so much better in every way,” the mother of three shared with Entertainment Tonight. “When someone is insecure by you and doesn’t like to watch you win, that really puts a damper on everything. I feel like I was not shining as bright to try to not make him feel emasculated.”
Thankfully, it appears things are much simpler filming with Tarek and Heather now.
The El Moussas Bring A Lot Of Fun To The Set
Even though Christina Haack is now competing on The Flip Off as a single woman, she’s still having a great time on the set. Fans can frequently spot her along with the El Moussas making ridiculous videos to promote the show.
“This wasn’t awkward at all. 😅😂 #theflipoff” Tarek El Moussa captioned his latest teaser for their new HGTV series. In the teaser, Tarek stands with his current wife Heather, and ex Christina.
Christina Haack thought it was hilarious and reposted it on her own Instagram stories, adding that she was “unbothered” by hanging out with the El Moussas.
