Jake Paul Claims Dana White Holding Conor McGregor ‘Hostage’
Jake Paul just had a huge weekend. He fought in an exhibition boxing match with legend Mike Tyson. While the two had heated confrontations leading to the fight, Jake won by unanimous decision and respected Tyson after the fight. However, Jake then set his sights on UFC boss Dana White and namedropped Conor McGregor.
Here is what Jake had to say about Dana and Conor and their UFC situation.
Jake Paul Tells Dana White To Free Conor McGregor
Jake Paul has never had a good relationship with Dana White. The boxer has always spoken his mind, and he has no respect for what White has done with the UFC. While he has been quiet for a while, he used his platform after the Mike Tyson fight to lay into Dana again.
Jake claims that Dana is holding Conor McGregor “hostage” in the UFC. “Dana White has a been boxing promoter his whole career,” Jake posted on X. “He is not fighters first. He’s Dana first. Builds you up and tears you down. Now Conor McGregor is hostage. Free Conor.”
Jake included a news article that showed Dana White’s failed TV show The Fighters from 2014. He noted that White had his TV show fail and couldn’t sell 4,000 tickets in Dublin without Conor.
This is also part of Jake Paul trying to call out Conor McGregor for a fight. Conor hasn’t fought any kind since 2021. Jake said he would even fight Conor in MMA and not boxing, but he said Conor wouldn’t do it.
What Happened To Conor McGregor?
Conor was supposed to return to MMA this summer, but his fight against Michael Chandler was canceled. Conor claims it was an injury but Chandler continues to call out the former UFC Champion.
Dana White has a been boxing promoter his whole career. All these nut riders need to do their research. His TV show failed. Couldn’t sell 4K tickets in Dublin with that useless Irish boxer he’s promoting. And he is not fighters first. He’s Dana first. Builds you up and tears you… pic.twitter.com/3CBIseHLSS

Dana White hasn’t made any comments on when or if Conor McGregor will return. However, he did comment on the Jake Paul fight with Mike Tyson, and White was not complimentary about it. “A f–king almost 60-year-old man shouldn’t be fighting a 27-year-old guy. Under any circumstances,” White said. “Even if it’s Mike Tyson. It’s just f–king ridiculous.”
Dana White also previously called Jake Paul a “pay-per-view turd.”
