HGTV’s Christina Haack Removes Farmhouse Listing, Why?
Amid her explosive split from Josh Hall, HGTV star Christina Haack opted to put her famous Tennessee property on the market. New reports indicate she’s backtracking on her initial decision.
What exactly fueled this move?
Christina Haack’s Stunning Farmhouse Is No Longer For Sale
According to PEOPLE, Christina Haack’s Tennessee farmhouse is no longer on the market. The publication reports property records indicate she took the Leiper’s Fork estate listing down on October 25. In other words, it was only for sale for around three weeks. When the HGTV star first listed the property, she asked for $4.5 million.
The Tennessee home is the primary setting for Christina in the Country, which fans worry may be canceled after the divorce. The farmhouse boasts six stunning bedrooms, as well as six bathrooms and 5,000 square feet.
So why did Christina Haack remove the listing?
PEOPLE reports that the Tennessee farmhouse has been a very hot-button issue during Josh and Christina Hall’s divorce. He had been living there since he left their marital home in California. The former couple had an agreement that he could stay there as long as she wasn’t using it for production or renting it out.
Needless to say, he wasn’t happy when she put it up for sale. Josh Hall fired a temporary emergency order to stop the sale. It’s not immediately clear if this was the reason behind Christina’s decision to unlist the property, but it seems likely.
Without a doubt, there are plenty of more bumps in the road ahead for the couple as they continue dividing their assets.
Josh Hall Appears In His Ex-Wife’s HGTV Show
On November 12, Christina in the Country Season 2 premiered on HGTV. Viewers were stunned to see Josh Hall in a starring role amid all the drama. However, fans must remember that the network filmed the season months ago. News of the Halls’ divorce didn’t hit the media until July.
HGTV fans are thoroughly enjoying the new episodes of Christina in the Country, but they’re also worried this will be the show’s finale season. The Halls’ split has left many elements up in the air. On top of that, Christina Haack is filming The Flip Off with Tarek and Heather El Moussa. It’s too early to tell what will happen with the show, but fans would hate to see it go.
