While this is a bummer for fans there is a valid reason for that. It can be difficult for fans of the show because they are left with questions after the season is over. Captain Sandy Yawn is opening up about why there is no reunion show.

Below Deck Med Captain Sandy Yawn is opening up to fans to let them know why there is no reunion show for the franchise. Sandy knows that fans are eager to enjoy a reunion show. However, there is a good reason that Bravo can not do a reunion show for Below Deck. Yawn is sharing why Bravo has been unable to get the cast members back together. She explained…

“The crew are scattered all over the planet like and they’re all boats and jobs, and it’s hard to gather them all together. It is really difficult. So I can imagine why they stopped doing it. That would be that’s my assumption is that they’re everywhere.”

Sometimes the Below Deck franchise will do virtual reunions, but these are not ideal. They did allow fans to get answers to questions and get closer to the season. The challenge the Bravo producers were having with this format was coordinating the cast schedules as many of them had already moved on to other jobs. Captain Sandy expressed that she was optimistic that reunion shows would happen in the future.

Captain Sandy Shares Aesha Scott’s Below Deck Future

Yawn reunited with Aesha Scott in Season 9 of Below Deck Med. Season 10 of the show has already been filmed and it includes several franchise alums. Captain Sandy did not specifically address with fans if Aesha Scott was in Season 10. However, she expressed that she would like to keep Aesha by her side on screen. Yawn said “I have Aesha. She’s chief stew, still she is chief stew. Yeah, I’m not trading Aesha.” Captain Sandy has a sense of loyalty to Aesha Scott.

It is a safe assumption that Aesha Scott will be on future seasons of Below Deck as she is a franchise favorite. Both Captain Sandy and Aesha have stated that they are eager to return for future seasons. They have said that they will do it as long as they are invited back onto the show.
