Hallmark’s ‘The Christmas Charade’ Had ‘SSD’ & ‘TWH’ Cameos
Hallmark’s recent Countdown To Christmas movie The Christmas Charade was a big hit with viewers. Rachel Skarsten and Corey Sevier star in this undercover romcom, with Corey directing and his wife Kate Pragnell writing the entertaining script. There were all sorts of surprises in this movie that made this movie so much fun.
However, there were two Hallmark stars in a fantastic cameo that was the chef’s kiss. Rachel dishes on this big surprise. Please note, there are spoilers for anyone who has not seen this holiday movie.
Rachel Skarsten On The Big Cameos In Hallmark’s The Christmas Charade
Viewers who watched Hallmark’s The Christmas Charade on Saturday night got quite a treat. This is the story of Whitney, a cautious elementary school librarian who accidentally finds herself involved with an FBI sting to stop an art theft. Although reluctant, FBI agent lone wolf Josh forms a bond with her, and they help crack the case. There were plenty of twists and turns throughout this movie. However, there were two big cameos at the beginning of the movie that made POstables pretty happy.
That is because Signed, Sealed, Delivered star Kristin Booth was part of a movie within a movie. In addition, The Way Home star Jefferson Brown was another cameo. In a foreshadowing of this movie, they played a romantic couple who were involved in espionage. This is the first scene of the movie. Therefore, it set the tone of the whole movie. Rachel Skarsten dished to Swoon about this exciting cameo double dip.
I didn’t know Kristin Booth was going to be in it until I started filming it. The funny thing is that whole cameo, Jefferson Brown is the other half of that cameo. Jefferson and I did Christmas Island a year before. I felt like not only was this so cool that I’d never met her and that she was in it, but that Jefferson was the other part of it.
It was super trippy to be on set. They filmed it the second last day of shooting, but then I get to see Jefferson sitting there I was like, I feel like we’re back on Christmas Island.
